What is the volunteer program?
Putnam Hospital Center's volunteer program is designed to meet a variety
of needs and goals. Volunteering is an opportunity to learn new skills
and to make new friends.
Volunteers augment the hospital staff by providing a wide range of services.
Almost anyone can volunteer. Men and women of all ages assist the health
care team in many areas of the hospital; every attempt is made to assign
volunteers to their specific field of interest.
What is the Putnam Hospital Center Auxiliary?
The Putnam Hospital Center Auxiliary, established in 1963, is a group
of men and women dedicated to three goals:
1. To raise money for Putnam Hospital Center
2. To serve as volunteers
3. To act as a liaison and source of information to the community.
