Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HbOT) is a medical treatment that enhances
the body's natural healing and strengthens the immune system. Delivered
by a highly trained staff of hyperbaric specialists, HbOT can be an effective
treatment option for many chronic wounds.

Birthing Center
Putnam
Hospital Center's state-of-the-art obstetrics unit, opened in 1999, is
the most comprehensive birthing facility in the area, offering mothers
and their babies the latest advances in birthing techniques, comforts
and care - all provided by an attentive, highly skilled staff that includes
board certified obstetricians/gynecologists, neonatologists and certified
nurse midwives.
The Birthing Center's amenities and facilities are designed to pamper
new mothers and boast of private labor/delivery/ recovery rooms with private
showers, private post-partum suites with added comfort areas for families
and visitors, a special suite dedicated to cesarean deliveries, a private
patient entrance, a large, separate lobby area for families, and a private
interior courtyard for walking and waiting.

Pain Management Program
Pain can be a physically and emotionally draining experience. When a patient's
medical program is complicated by debilitating pain, Putnam Hospital Center's
Pain Management Program is available to help. The program is directed
by an anesthesiologist with specialized training. The support team is
comprised of specialists in physical medicine/rehabilitation, psychiatry,
psychology and physical therapy. For additional information, please call

 Outpatient Physical Therapy
After
an injury, illness or surgery, all you really want to do is begin enjoying
life again and achieve your full potential. Putnam Hospital Center's Outpatient
Physical Therapy Department's skilled team of compassionate professionals
is dedicated to helping you heal and return to your normal lifestyle.
You will receive quality care and individualized attention from a staff
committed to helping you achieve your potential and reach your rehabilitation
goals.
In addition to our general rehabilitation program, we offer occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, wound treatment, a sports program and a spine program.

Home Health Care
Putnam Hospital Center's Home Health Department includes a Certified Home
Health Agency, a Long Term Home Health Care Program and private duty nursing.
Home care offers a variety of professional and supportive services for
sick and disabled individuals who do not necessarily require hospitalization.
Services include routine nursing care, home health aide teaching and demonstration
of care for the sick at home, evaluation and monitoring, rehabilitation
therapy, emotional support for the patient and family to cope with the
illness and injury and plan for the future, assistance with personal care,
exercise and other areas such a meal preparation, laboratory services,
and arrangements for medical/surgical supplies, equipment and medications.
Anyone, including physicians, family members, community organizations
or patients themselves may request referrals to home care; prior hospitalization
is not a prerequisite.

Sleep Disorders Center
Are you having trouble finding a good night's sleep? You may be one of the 70 million Americans who suffer from a sleep disorder like sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or insomnia. Untreated sleep disorders can lead to more serious illness such as stroke, congestive heart failure, and hypertension.
